Diary Event

Management have issued the following Playing Guidelines for Social Golf as we prepare to re-open on Friday 29th May

When governments and authorities give express consent, play may be able to begin in a regulated way. Looking ahead to this time, the Management of your Club has put together a plan for a range of procedures that will be insisted upon to allow safe play to take place, including but not limited to:

• Play will be managed by the professional staff and will remind golfers of the guidance on social distancing and safe play.
• This guidance and advice for golfers will be posted on websites and on tee times online booking pages
• Members are required to book Tee times online where possible or by calling professional shop – NO TURN UP & PLAY GOLF
• All Golfers will commence their round from the 1st Tee – NO STARTING AT THE 16TH or 17th holes.
• Tee times will remain at our standard 8 minute intervals and will be Member play ONLY to begin with - NO GUEST OR VISITOR GOLF – MEMBERS ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

• The number of players in a group will be as follows:

1 Ball (Member Only)
2 Ball (Any Member combination)
3 / 4 Ball – Subject to adherence of ONLY mixing with ONE other household group and as per guidance from Scottish Golf (again Members Only groups)

Bookings will be reduced to 2 days in advance. Tee time intervals and booking periods will be monitored on a weekly basis. The tee sheet will open up at 8am and allows members to book 2 days in advance.

• Please avoid cutting in on any holes to maintain distancing for both other golfers and staff.

· In the interests of staff safety the first tee time each day will be 8am – No Golf Permitted before 8am each day. However the online tee sheet will be extended to 8:30PM each day so that members can book tee times beyond shop hours and adhere to all the safety measures as stated in this document.

• Clubhouse to initially remain shut so golfers to arrive shortly before their tee time (e.g. 10-15 minutes) and change their shoe etc. in the car park

• No access to clubhouse or on course toilets. Please use toilet facilities at home before you leave.

• Leave the flag in at all times - hole cup inserts will be in use to avoid the need to place your hand down inside the hole cup to retrieve your ball.

• Golfers asked at the beginning to leave the Club as soon as their game is complete.

Equipment retrieval from clubhouse by appointment only and in advance of booking a tee time – contact the Pro shop to arrange.
