Scott Emslie CupAwarded for the first time in 2017 in memory of Scott Emslie who sadly passed away in 2016. £2 entry fee to be donated to the British Heart Foundation. 18 Holes stroke play competition on full handicap.

Tennent Cup – Gifted in 1977 by Tennent Caledonian Brewers. 18 holes stroke play competition on full handicap.

Cox Cup – Gifted in 1906. 18 holes stroke play qualifying competition on full handicap. Top 16 take part in match play KO competition on full handicap. The final is played over 36 holes.

Riverston Cup – Gifted in 1922 by A Barclay Howard. 18 holes stroke play qualifying competition on full handicap. The top sixteen play in a two round stroke play competition on full handicap.

President ‘s Putter – The original putter was gifted in 1947 by Victor J Mackieson. The present one dates from 1984. 18 holes stroke play competition on full handicap.

Gilbert Herries Quaich – Gifted in 1994 in memory of Gilbert Herries who died while captain of the club. 18 holes stroke play on full handicap. The top 8 take part in a match play KO on full handicap.

Summer Cup – Gifted in 1980 by Bett Brothers (built the new clubhouse). 18 holes stroke play on full handicap.

Captain’s Claret Jug – Awarded for the first time in 2002. 18 holes stroke play on full handicap.

Davidson Cup – Gifted in 1919 by the Davidson family of Inchmarlo. 18 holes stroke play competition on full handicap. The top 8 take part in a match play KO on full handicap.

John Marr Trophy – Gifted in 1958 in memory of John Marr of Hillside. Four rounds stroke play competition on full handicap allowance. Top 32 qualify for last two rounds.

Autumn Meeting/McRobert Thistle Cup
Gifted in 1974 by the Scottish Branch of the National Playing Fields Association. 18 holes stroke play competition on full handicap.

Gents Championship Cup – Gifted in 1956 by Mr and Mrs R O McDonald. Four rounds of stroke play scratch competition. Open to players handicap of 12 or less. Final 2 rounds restricted to top 16 players and ties.

Senior Championship Cup – Gifted in 1990 by Stewart Adamson. Three rounds of stroke play scratch competition. (55 )

Senior Handicap Cup – The Veteran’s Cup was gifted in 1958 by Dr Salveson . Three rounds stroke play on full handicap.

Considine Trophy – Gifted in 1965 by I M Considine. The monthly medal scratch winners and runners up qualify to play on Medal Finals day in a two round stroke play scratch competition.

Medal Finals – Class 1 Cup – Gifted by Mr and Mrs G Clark in 1962, Class 2 Shield awarded for the first time in 1970 and Class 3 shield awarded for the first time in 1987. Class 1 play two rounds and Class 2 and 3 one round on medal finals day. Stroke play on full handicap.

Singles Scratch Cup18 holes match play KO scratch competition with a handicap limit of 12.

Singles Handicap Cup – 18 holes match play KO handicap competition.

L H Forbes Trophy – Gifted in 1980 by L H Forbes. 18 holes two ball foursomes match play KO competition. Handicap allowance is half of the full difference between the aggregate handicaps of the two sides.

Provost Black Rosebowl – Gifted in 1975 by Provost Douglas Black, late Provost of Banchory. Awarded to the player returning the best average score on handicap over ten rounds out of nineteen during the season.
