LADIES COMPETITIONS
Championship Cup – Gifted in 1948 by J Thomson Kincora. Three rounds stroke play scratch competition.
Bronze Trophy – Presented in 1974 to be played in conjunction with the championship by bronze players. Three rounds stroke play on handicap.
Tarmay Cup – Gifted in 2002 by Mrs Judy Tarmay and played for in conjunction with the club championship. Three rounds stroke play on handicap.
Sue Adamson Trophy – Gifted in 2002 by Mrs Sue Adamson and played for in conjunction with the club championship. Three rounds stroke play senior handicap competition (60)
Spring & Autumn Cup – Awarded for the first time in 1982 to the player with the best aggregate score on handicap at the Spring and Autumn Meetings.
Hinks Cup – Gifted in 1973 by the Hinks family. 18 holes stroke play competition on handicap with the top 16 qualifying to play match play KO on full handicap.
Handicap Cup – Awarded for the first time in 1958. Two rounds stroke play competition on full handicap.
Mina Allan Spoons – Gifted in 1993 by Mrs Mina Allan. 18 hole qualifying round with the top 8 players taking part in a match play KO competition on full handicap.
Club Cup – Awarded for the first time in 1928. Two rounds stroke play competition on full handicap.
Captain’s Claret Jug – Awarded for the first time in 2002 to the winner of the 18 stroke play competition on full handicap.
Medal Finals – Silver and Bronze – 18 holes stroke play competition for winners and runners up of medal competitions throughout the season. To be played on medal finals day.
Barclay Walker Cup – Gifted in 1924 by A Barclay Walker. Since 1973 this has been played as an 18 hole match play KO competition on full handicap.
Jenny Mirtle Smith Salvers – Gifted in 1982 in memory of Mrs Jenny Smith. 18 hole two ball foursomes, match play KO competition on handicap. Half the difference of the combined handicaps of each side. Winners go forward to the Daily Mail Competition.
Eileen Paterson Memorial Trophy – Gifted in 1997 by Bob Paterson in memory of his wife Eileen who died while in office as captain. Awarded to the player returning the ten best medal scores on handicap during the season.
Birch Trophy – Gifted in 1997 by Mrs Helen Edon (Birch). Greensomes two ball stroke play competition on handicap. The handicap allowance is half the combined.
Doo’cot Trophy – Gifted in 1983 by Mrs E J Lawrenson. Awarded to the member of 60 years and over who returns the four best medal rounds over the season.
Elsie J Wilson Trophy – Gifted in 1999 by Mrs Elsie Wilson and awarded to the player with the best net score of the season.
Grant Centenary Spoon – Gifted in 2005 by Miss Lesley Grant. Five club competition played on full handicap.
Golf Foundation Brooch – First awarded in 1990 to the overall winner of a medal, the date of which is set at the beginning of the season. Entry fees go to the National Juniors Fund.
Duck Trophy – Gifted in 1993 by Mrs Pam Nicoll and awarded to the winner of the Ladies Outing.
Betty Trevena Cup – Gifted in 2001 by Mrs Betty Trevena and awarded to the winner of the Winter Stableford competition
