The Royal Deeside Golf Week (RDGW) is a 72-hole stableford event for all golfers played in late July each year. Since its establishment in 2003, the RDGW has regularly attracted players from as far afield as the United States and Europe, with many re-booking for their annual trip to play the four majestic courses of Aboyne, Ballater, Banchory and Braemar. With prizes for each round and the full event, this golfing package caters for all abilities. Both players and non-golfers can sample the scenic beauty, and cultural and historical opportunities of the area with free time built into the playing schedule.
