Banchory Golf Club’s uniquely-designed Clubhouse brings you panoramas of the course, dense forests and distant hills above the banks of the ever-present River Dee, peacefully winding its way to the sea from the Grampian Mountains and past Balmoral Castle. The round, wooden interior skilfully mixes the rightful history of this 1905 Club with a modern twist and is the perfect place of relaxation for golfers, visitors and societies who can enjoy a quiet drink, tasty snack or more substantial local fayre in our comfortable lounges, dining room or balcony area, overlooking the putting green, 1st tee and the famous 16th green with its distinctive white doo’cot.
An ideal venue for hosting your special event or celebrations in Banchory, you can always rely on our team’s friendly, efficient service – and the very best value. Whether a member, a visiting golfer or a guest, you’ll certainly feel at ease mixing with the many friendly faces in and around the Clubhouse, all in anticipation of an interesting round or relaxing afterwards discussing the shot that brought them back.Our well-stocked bar offers members and guests an extensive and up-to-date range of beers, wines, spirits or soft drinks. The lounge and its bar are the perfect place to look out over the course and reminisce about your round.
The Clubhouse is equipped to host parties and celebrations. We also have a full-size snooker table for the non-golfers in the party, or if your visit could be improved by trying something different during your time here! The club’s experienced staff will be delighted to help plan your special event, right down to the smallest detail.
