Bar & Catering Manager:
A vacancy has come at Banchory Golf Club for a dynamic and motivated, experienced, service driven Bar & Catering Manager to operate the Catering and Bar services for members and visitors of our prestigious Club.
Banchory Golf Club was founded in 1905 and situated in the middle of the busy town of Banchory and is regarded as one of the most picturesque courses in Scotland.
Our fantastic course and facilities mean that we are much in demand. Currently we have a membership of in excess 900 members and a very healthy level of societies and visitors wanting to enjoy the course and our services.
We host several large golf events each year (up to 100 guests), as well as regular matches, and members events, all of which not only want to enjoy the golf but also the hospitality we are able to offer.
We therefore have an excellent opportunity for candidates with the following experience/skills:
* Ability to ensure the member / guest experience is always positive and that the Clubhouse runs to the service levels expected.
* A team player who can work with other related functions to ensure a seamless service across all areas, especially liaison and working closely with the in-house Chef.
* Manage and supervise dining front of house staff to ensure a smooth service.
* Proven track record of managing a bar operation and all the associated operational, hygiene and health & safety requirements.
* Appropriate qualifications to sell and serve alcohol.
* Experience of working and negotiating with suppliers to ensure effective stock management.
* Experience of managing an effective, efficient, and motivated team that can offer the quality and service levels required across food and beverage areas.
* An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
* Ambitious to drive the club forward.
